November 15 Fall Bird Walk with AP Sober Socials

Grab your favorite adventure buddy and join us for a fall bird walk on Sandy Hook on Saturday, November 15 from 10 am – 12 pm. We will look out for wading birds, songbirds, woodpeckers, and anyone else who is in the park.

Birding is for everyone. All are welcome on our friendly and respectful Beachy Birder Adventures!

We will meet at Gateway National Recreation Area, Sandy Hook unit in Guardian Park (with the grilling areas, covered benches and public restrooms) and then head out on the paved multi-use pathway. We will walk for about two miles. Please dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes, bring water, layers, snacks, a hat, and binoculars if you have them. We have five pairs of 8×25 birding binoculars for you to borrow as needed, and we will have a spotting scope to look through as well.

Our outings are rain or shine but in the event of extreme weather we will reschedule for a more enjoyable experience. Let’s get birdy!
