April 15 Birds of the Navesink Presentation
Love where you live? Curious about the birds beyond your backyard or neighborhood? Let’s learn together!
Join us for a birding discussion hosted by the Navesink Maritime Heritage Association from 7-8 pm on Wednesday, April 15. Learn from an experienced naturalist how to start identifying birds of the Navesink your own, about great spots in the region for birding, including what you can expect to find, and what makes a location a great area for bird activity.
This multimedia presentation will get you excited to look in your neighborhood, local park or backyard for our area’s exceptional range of migratory and year-round birds.
Lindsay will also draw on her experience supporting bird banding research to share insights into how concerned community members are using science to learn about, monitor, and protect birds.

Our purpose is to lead guided bird walks throughout New Jersey, encouraging all to appreciate the beauty and wonder of nature. Beachy Birder Adventures gives everyone a chance to be curious, learn and discover something new. Our walks are low key and meant for the bird curious. We slow-bird. We look to meet people where they are through lighthearted humor.
